Regular Play In each stage, there are three Toads that you must rescue. They are each trapped in little square pink boxes with an exclamation point on them, which you break by giving the box a good whack. One important point: if you don't get all Toads from all stages, you cannot fight Bowser at the end. That being said, you can redo stages as many times as you want to get that last little elusive Toad freed. Believe me, I've had to rework many stages in SPP. Interspersed throughout the stages are also Music Scores, Mini-Games, and Puzzle Pieces. Peach will let you know by way of a sound and a surprised expression on the Touch Screen that she's sensed a Toad, Puzzle Piece, Mini-Game, or Music Score in the area of the stage you're currently in. Beefing yourself up with Tough Coffee and Vibe Tea from Toad's Shop, along with whacking enemies, bosses, and getting coins using the Mini-Games and the stages, is most of the point of the game. The Music and Puzzle Rooms, along with the Glossary of enemies, is there for help and extra entertainment (which makes SPP incredibly well-rounded as a game).
